                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF HIXSON PIKE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   FEBRUARY 13, 1993, FROM 10:30 A.M. TO 3:00
                   P.M. FOR "THE ART OF FLYCASTING"
                   DEMONSTRATION UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   OSPREY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the southbound curb lane of Hixson Pike
       between Hanover Street and Tremont Street on Saturday, February
       13, 1993, from 10:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for "The Art of 
Flycasting"
       demonstration sponsored by the Osprey, provided that the sponsors 

       shall set out and pick up all road closed and detour signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide, at all times, an access lane for emergency vehicles.
